Since 1985
One Ridge, One Family, One Cellar
Tannin Ridge began with forty acres of hillside and a stubborn idea: that a wine should taste of exactly one place. Four decades later we still farm every row ourselves, pick before dawn, and bottle steps from where the grapes grew.
Nothing leaves the estate until it is wine, and nothing enters the bottle that did not begin on the ridge. That is the whole philosophy — everything else is detail.
- Estate-grown and estate-bottled, every vintage without exception.
- Dry-farmed old vines, some planted by the founder himself.
- A stone cellar of French oak and large oak botti, never rushed.

Walter planted the first ridge block in 1985. Elena runs the estate day to day, Marcus has made every vintage since 2009, and James sets the table — literally — for everything we pour. Between the four of them, no bottle leaves the ridge without a familiar hand on it.
“Join the club and the estate comes to you — first pours, library wines, and a standing invitation to harvest.”— The Tannin Ridge Wine Club
